Since 1973 Scalar-yachts have been built in Kappeln-Grauhöft by passionate boat builders. These yachts are constructed and marked by Rolf Steckmest. Apart from the Scalar 40, which was produced in cooperation with the construction office Nissen. |
Every yacht is handcrafted affectionately and “ripens” over half a year. In that way each build becomes a beauty and an experience for the owner and the dockyard. In this process we work in accordance with the owner and his wishes- that’s understood for us. |
As the owner you are welcome to visit the dockyard, to witness how the Scalar is produced, how only the best wood is used by our builders, conscientiously polished, varnished and conserved. |
